This development, located at the corner of Blackfriars Road and Trinity Way, will provide 400 units of Private Rental Sector (PRS) accommodation as well as office and retail space. Facilities for the residents includes a concierge, gym, cafe, residents bar, guest rooms, function spaces, on site laundry, storage and car parking.  The project, comprising of a 16 and 12 storey tower, the Grade II listed Blackfriar public house and a full site footprint basement, will be knitted together by a central landscaped podium.

Through collaboration with the architect, 5plus Architects, we have delivered an optimal structural grid for the accommodation towers, designing out transfer structures and saving over £1.5m in construction costs.

This industrial site was comprised of various parcels of land each of which had various historic uses. We helped to unlock the potential of the site by successfully negotiating the closure and diversion of three public sewers that crossed the site. Working closely with the team, we developed a basement strategy that worked with the site contours, minimising excavations and avoiding expensive temporary works during construction.
